That’s a great list. I knew about MOST of them. There are two I would add: Classesbybeth.com/blog and benandme.com (“Ben” just started 9th grade and she is doing lots of unit study/delight directed learning with him…. even.in.high.school). Love her newer posts!

I also blog about homeschooling high school, mainly from the British viewpoint which has lots of different hoops to jump through, different aims, different approaches. You might find it interesting to see how they compare. There is a sister site with a .com ending that talks about homeschooling high school in the US, mainly about setting a routine, getting a vision, aiming for college, etc. Please do pop by! http://www.dreamingspireshomelearning.co.uk

Can you recommend a particular blog for help with a boy student who thinks he knows it all and has become un teachable with a lot of attitude? Thanks, struggling Momma.

I’ve been blogging for 8 years at Magic and Mayhem and have two high schoolers (and three younger). We have a new address since Homeschool Journal closed down last year, but all of the archives moved over. It’s now at magic and mayhem homeschool .wordpress .com

Donna, I am not sure I know of a blog for your specific problem. Sometimes stripping it all down and starting again is helpful. Backing away from the schooling and just dealing with the “heart” issues like attitude and respect. And then building back in with school stuff.
