Snicker Doodles

Makes about 6 dozen cookies

Ingredients:
1 cup soft shortening
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 cups flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
1. Heat over to 400 degrees.

2. Mix shortening, sugar, and eggs thoroughly.

3. Mix flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt together. Then stir into the above wet mixture.

4. Form dough into balls the size of small walnuts.

5. Roll balls in mixture of the 2 Tbsp. sugar + 2 tsp. cinnamon

6. Place on greased cookie sheet about 2″ apart.

7. Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
