I can’t believe how easily these glide across the page! They are like really smooth crayons! Plus they dry so quickly we could almost instantaneously wipe our hands across the page. The colors layer easily too! My 11 year old noted that these are not great for “small details” as they are fairly chunky. She found that by using the edge of them she could manage the small stuff a little better though. What they are good for is larger scale drawings, and filling spaces in with color!
