Weekly Wrap Up ~ Never Home
Monday: We had another museum and music lesson day. What made this one unique is that while sitting at the museum, eating lunch, I realized we had forgotten their music books and Chloe’s violin. We had to drive the 30min home and 30min back making us late for their music lesson.
Wednesday: Another week of story time with Mr. Mike. I believe only 2 more weeks and then we break for the holidays until into January. We will miss story time as Mr. Mike does such a great job with it. This week he read a favorite of ours…Pinkalicious, by Victoria Kann. She has three stories out about Pinkalicious all of which Ava has, and one coming out very soon! Ava’s absolute favorite though is Purplicious. They are all about a little girl who loves the color pink.
Thursday: Was a day spent in the car. From driving Chloe to her Middle School Life Science lab at the U of R, to taking the other two over to the RMSC to kill time, back to get Chloe at the U of R, ice skating at Genesee Valley and then shopping for birthday supplies for Jayden’s birthday party. All the while listening to an audio version of A Christmas Carol that the kids are loving. (More on that in another post)
Friday: Today was zoo class day. This month was all about amphibians. We learned that the big difference between amphibians and reptiles is that amphibians do not have scales, reptiles do; and that amphibians skin is always moist, where reptiles skin is dry. The kids favorite part was the story we read which was called The Wide Mouth Frog.
