I ♥ Faces ~ Dramatic B&W
The folks over at I ♥ Faces have this to say about today’s challenge:
We have had a B&W theme one other time, but for this week’s challenge we are going to be very specific.
We are looking for B&W photos that are dramatic, sensational and/or moody in the way they are presented. Please don’t just enter a typical portrait photo that has been converted to B&W. Something about your entry must catch our eye as being dramatic or moody for it to be passed along to the Guest Photographer Judge as a top entry for them to choose from.

With this dramatic B&W theme in mind, this series of photos I took for Tony and Janet’s wedding were really the only ones I could think of. I had originally thought of one with the two of them walking away from me on the road, hand in hand. The only problem is that I am still not versed enough in Photoshop to adjust that one the way I wanted it to look. So I chose this one instead with the sun reflecting off the water and the dark shadowy grass growing high around them.

This is a fantastic photo.. You are better than you give yourself credit for. Your photos do not need that much editing. They are good right from the get-go.

I love the sun behind the clouds in the background, and I’m always a fan of silhouettes. Great shot!

Love, romance, and serenity are words that come to mind along with the fact that you definitely captured the moment photographically.
