I ♥ Faces ~ “Hilarious Outtakes”
I ♥ Faces is having their “Hilarious Outtakes” contest this week. The rules are a little bit different as they are allowing 5 photos instead of just one. Unfortunately for me, most of my real “outtakes” were deleted before they ever made it to my computer! But I am sure with a little digging I can find some awkward poses and goofy faces, I am married to Joey!! 😀
In the above pictures you can see a trend of getting a hand in the “face” of the camera. My father hates to have his picture taken so he has this obnoxious habit of putting his hand up. The unfortunate part is that now his grandchildren have copied this not so fantastic behavior. Needless to say, we have taken many “outtakes” due to a hand being put up in our “face”.

My final 3 shots that I chose are all about the kids! The first one is of Jayden at Chuck E Cheese with a balloon over his head. What little hair he did have was sticking straight up and the tense look on his face was too funny. Next is our “Little Mermaid”. Silly man that my husband is, he could not resist putting this red wig on a baby friend of ours. It was his big sister’s wig for Halloween, but somehow it ended up off of her, and onto him!

I saved this last picture until the end. It was taken when Chloe was younger and she was not feeling well. Her fever was very high and she was miserable. I decided to try these “Kid Kool” patches that you put on their foreheads to help reduce fevers. Chloe was more than a little skeptical of the whole thing so we cut one for her, and one for her doll. I could not have known what kind of a face she was going to make when I took the picture, but it has been the talk of my parents since we took the shot. She looks so pitiful!

Here are all the details for the I ♥ Faces “Hilarious Outtakes” theme:
- Have you ever gone through your photos and found some that were just too funny for words? Either the person has a weird look on their face, the child was picking their nose, the body was in an awkward angle, or… the possibilities are endless! This is your week to feature not one…but FIVE of those photos in your i heart faces entry!
- Anyone is welcome to participate (only one entry per person though.)
- You can enter your post on Mon or Tues
- Instead of just having one photo in your entry, we are allowing you to have up to five. All of your photo entries must be in the same blog post. If there are more than five photos in your post, you will not be eligible to win.
- If you are entering from your Flickr account, you will only be able to enter one photo this week.
- You need to put the i heart faces button in your post (you can find our buttons in the left hand sidebar of our site.)
- Pick the photos that make you laugh out loud when you see them. Tickle the judge’s funny bone and you might see your photo featured on our site!

Tee hee hee. That last one looks like she has a pad on her head. 🙂 I hope it worked anyway!!! The wig one cracked me up too…just totally cruel. Love it!

Heidi you are sooooo right about these pictures. They make you laugh out loud especially Chloe looking extremely pathetic. Now there’s my husband’s hand to account for. What makes it annoying is the fact that Toni wants a plethora of pictures of everyone else and always comments when there are no new ones. Who of you appreciate a person who has one set of rules for themselves and another set for the rest of us? NOT!!!! When is comes to role modeling and speaking into your grandchildren’s lives, this is assuredly is not a stellar one.
