I just received our packet in the mail and an e-mail reminding me it is that time again. But to be honest, I really didn’t need the reminder! We were just in the Dollar Store last week shopping for party supplies for Chloe’s birthday party when she saw the shoe box sized plastic containers. She immediately starting talking about how she needs them and needs to get going on filling up her boxes to donate this year.

You see, every year she uses her own money to fill at least 2 shoe boxes to donate to Operation Christmas Child. I then kick in the money for shipping. Last year I was reminded about this event when I saw an article in our local newspaper. Hopefully I will easily be able to find a local drop off for our boxes again this year!
