Ten on Ten ~ December 10th, 2010
Ten on Ten has come around again and I would have totally forgotten if it were not for my dear friend Shana sending me a text (see below) to remind me of it!
Hello, hello! I’m sure you’re sleeping by now, but am hoping you wake up bright and early tomorrow..on Friday…the 10th (!) of the month…to this friendly reminder to participate in 10 on 10!!! Your assignment for today (should you accept it) is to capture signs of the upcoming holiday as you see them……snow, decorations, long lines…you name it. That’s what, I, too will be trying to find today. Now, GO!
We are home all day so finding reminders of the holiday are seemingly easy. Although I sort of wish we were out and about today as I know there are so many fantastic things to capture this holiday season in the world around us. Home will just have to do for today though. 🙂

These are AWESOME!!! I think these are the best set yet…I feel so festive just having looked at them and even having BEEN in your house and SEEING these things in person, you’ve captured them in a creative perspective! LOVE THESE!!

Daughter, you definitely captured much of the spirit, and memories of traditional past Christmas celebrations in our home. It’s always a joy and delight to see the excitement and wonder through a little child’s eyes. Loved the contrast in Jayden’s picture of color and black and white.
I love your father’s memories of Christmas in Germany because the focus was where it should be when Christmas arrived. On December 6, Saint Nicholas arrived and then Christmas was the celebration of hope because of baby Jesus’s birth.
