365 Project ~ Days 28 – 33
Day Twenty-Eight: Friday, January 28th
SHARK TEETH!!! This seems to be Jayden’s way of losing and gaining teeth. If you look at his teeth he has an adult tooth on either side of his 2 front bottom teeth. Which is fine, except he still has both baby teeth too!
Day Twenty-Nine: Saturday, January 29th
Years ago we started doing Football Sundays with pizza. I know, I know, you are thinking but this picture is on a Saturday. Well, we were unable to do it on Sunday this week so we moved it to Saturday! We vary it from store bought for the oven, take out, pizza muffins, and homemade pizza. This week we decided to make our very first buffalo chicken pizza. But of course before you can make the pizza……you have to toss the dough!
Day Thirty: Sunday, January 30th
During the cold months of the winter I like to snuggle up to a warm mug of hot chocolate. This winter though I have done more green tea because it is healthier and less fat. Well, apparently it still holds true that whatever Mommy has is more interesting than what the kids have themselves! Jayden has taken to drinking my tea with me.
Day Thirty-One: Monday, January 31st
Ava has always been a very independent child. Even when she was crib bound as a young baby she was very content to hang in her crib and play with her toys. I have always chalked it up to her needing space from her overbearing older siblings. She has loved this dollhouse from the moment it was given to her. We often find her quietly engaged in play with all her toys in her room. Today was no exception!
Day Thirty-Two: Tuesday, February 1st
We spent 2 days this week on a structured art project. We learned all about the Color Wheel. Then we set to working with Warm Colors (reds, oranges, yellows), and Cool Colors (blues, greens, violets). We worked on a project called “Warm Hands”. The kids had a template of circles on their paper. They traced their hand over the circles. Then they had to choose cool colors for the circles, and warm colors for their hand. They all did it and loved it! From Chloe to Ava they tuned out very well!
Day Thirty-Three: Wednesday, February 2nd
This week I was given the opportunity to receive one month of access to Time4Learning, for all 3 of the kids, for free. They all seem to love it. Jayden’s level has various “Story Creators” in which they give you a back drop with objects, people, etc to choose for adding into the backdrop. Then you get to write a story. Ava decided she was going to have at it and this photo is what she came up with. The odd lines are what she typed, and the even lines are what she actually wanted to say. It was neat to see her trying to sound out the words to type them into the computer.

Seeing all those extra teeth of Jayden’s brought to mind “the better to bite you with my dear”. Am I strange or what? Best not to answer that.
Hopefully I will get to enjoy one of Joey’s new pizza ideas in the near future.. My son-in-law in such a show-off.
It is so amazing all the different things Ava is capable of doing and desires to do at such a tender age. Recently, Ava expressed wanting to learn how to tell time. Heidi, you continue to have more school work planning added to your agenda.
