3 in 30 May Wrap-Up & June Goals
As I was reading through some of the other 3 in 30 challenges for this month, I came across Dianna’s over at The Kennedy Adventures and the title “Mediocre May” pretty much summed up how I am feeling about my month of May.
Goal One: Focus more on what I am thankful for. Take time to be grateful instead of griping
Even though I have never gotten around to using the calendar so far this month, I think we have been very successful with our dinnertime game. The kids are still begging to do it, and including anyone who happens to be at our dinner table. I would however like to feel this way more throughout the day, being able to put aside the daily stresses, take a deep breathe, and be grateful for what we have. Maybe something I will tackle in the future!
Goal Two: Keep the amount of dirty dishes down to a minimum.
Only once have I slipped from this goal. The” leave no dish behind” rule seems to be doing it’s duty! This is definitely a success for this month. I have another great house cleaning one to work on for June!
Goal Three: I want to have cleaner floor/carpets in the house.
I totally failed at this goal. So much so that I don’t think I will include it in June’s list. I have yet to come up with a method of being more successful at something so simple.

Great goals! I agree with keeping the dirty dishes to a minimum. One minute the kitchen is clean and then after dinner it looks like a disaster here. If I wait until morning it just keeps piling up. Good luck on your goals for June and thanks for linking up to the NOBH! 🙂

Your goals are great! I will be back to check out the recipes. My hubs is the cook in the family. But he travels for his job and I have to cover dinner on those days. So I’m always looking for something new and easy.
I’m adding your blog button to my “All Buttoned Up” page on my blog. I’ll be back to check in.
