June 3in30 Week 4
So somehow this whole month seems to be passing me by! I did not post a 3in30 update last week and the week before I posted mine as week 1 only to find everyone else was posting as week 2! Hopefully at least I will have that right this week!
Goal One: If you open it, close it.
This one has seemed easy from the beginning for me. The kids are now starting to show improvement in this one as well. They will often pause after walking away from the pantry door and then go back to shut it.
Goal Two: Exercise 3 times a week for at least 20 minutes.
I have very much enjoyed this goal and plan on keeping it within my grasp. I have spent much more time on the trampoline with the kids, I have been swimming with them as well. I have also had the opportunity to give my bike a little work out with night time rides with a friend. Hopefully I can continue with these things through the summer.
Goal Three: Post 4 recipes in the From Our Kitchen section on my blog.
This should be fairly easy, but apparently it is the easy goals (like keeping my floor clean) that seem to allude me. I have only managed one recipe this month. Seeing as I still have almost a week until the end of the month, I am going to make extra special effort to add a few more recipes to my site.

You have made great progress!! I like the idea of if you open it, then close it – that might be a good one for my little ones 🙂

Great job!! And you still have plenty of time to post the recipes.
Sigh. I need to make exercise a goal for myself, too. Maybe I will make that a goal for July. Or August. September, at the latest :).

You are doing great. Don’t worry about the 3rd goal..you still have a few days left in June. You can do it!

I love your first goal! It’s amazing how difficult that can be sometimes. Although, I find “If you turn it on, turn it off” to be just as hard sometimes! 🙂

Jenni,
For July it is going to be, “If you take it out, put it away!”

Daughter you are making excellent progress in meeting these goals. My advice to you is to focus and celebrate more on what you have accomplished rather than on what is left. Often I find that you are too hard on your self.
I am laughing right now because the Lord put to my mind an old Gaither song. Let’s see if you remember it.
You are a promise; you are a possibility; you are a promise with a capital P. You are a great big bundle of Potentiality. And if you listen you will hear my voice; and if you try me you will make the right choice. You’re a Promise to be anything God wants you to be.

It sounds like you’ve had a fairly successful month in spite of it passing so quickly! I love your simple and doable goals. You’ve still got five days to get those recipes up… You CAN do it!
