Junior Explorers is a program that connects kids to wildlife and nature and teaches them about different ecosystems across our planet and the animals that live there. This is done through monthly ‘missions’ delivered to your home that are both offline (collectibles + activities) and online (a robust digital experience), allowing kids to travel to and experience all the amazing corners of the world from their own home.

Junior Explorers Mission Arctic

In our Junior Explorers Arctic Mission Package we received:

• a welcome letter that included the log-in information and codes we would need to get started
• a mission checklist and activity booklet
• a bracelet and button
• a sheet of arctic animals stickers
• a sheet of arctic animals tattoos
• 2 miniature arctic animals
• arctic animal fact cards and postcards

Junior Explorers Online

Once your child has read their fact cards, and sheet, and worked in their activity booklet, they are encouraged to log-in online to start their adventure.

During their online adventure they can choose to do it all in one longer sitting, or come and go as they want to. The game saves your place to your child can go back to where they left off.

They will join Kia and Kyle on a mission. In this case a rescue mission to save a mamma polar bear and return her to her babies. (There are other missions each month that explore a different biome.)

Between the packet of fun hands on activities and the online adventure, your child can have an arctic adventure all their own!

As kids play Junior Explorers they earn points that get converted to dollars and at the end of every mission kids choose which nonprofits, such as World Wildlife Fund and the Nature Conservancy, receive their donation.
