Learn Something
This is a new blog project for Amy over at Bring Yourself.
As Amy writes here:
“This project is about learning in a different way.
I want to learn different things.
Instead of big, earth shattering things,
I want to learn things that are important to me.
I want to find things out about myself and the places I go.
I want to explore and investigate the world.
Even if that is just by taking my dogs for a walk in the woods
or having a conversation with someone I don’t know.
As soon as I learn something,
I am going to write it down on the nearest scrap of paper.
I will photograph it there and then and share it with you.
The sharing will be a part of the learning.”
I am interested in giving this a try, although I do not know how well it will work for me. It has been a week or two since I learned of this idea and in that time I have had a hard time coming up with things that I think would fit. Sure, I can spit out little facts and things that I am learning during our home school adventures, but I don’t believe that is what this quest is about. This about the everyday people, places, and experiences in my life, and looking at them in a light. Paying more attention to the things around me in order to discover things I had not noticed or thought of before. So today I will put this idea out there, and tomorrow, maybe I will have some enlightening little tid-bit to share. Maybe you will have a revelation about something in your life and want to share it as well.
