14 years ago today I married my best friend, the one person I know I can rely on, the father of my children, the one I would be lucky and wholly blessed to spend all the rest of my years with. We did it without the bat of an eye, or a doubt in our minds, we just fit (like peanut butter and jelly-two so very different things that blend so well together!
 
When we married we started our own family, the one in which it is the two of us, united together, against all odds. The one that has grown as we added 3 children into the mix. The one that has stood the test of life’s many trials. I would do it all over again, without hesitation, as long as I have him to do it with.
 
Marriage is not taken seriously by so many these days, and that makes me sad. No one said it would be easy, no one said you would like your mate all the time, but vows are made, and commitments are serious. We promised to love, honor, and cherish….in sickness, and in health…..til death do we part. I have been so blessed to have a husband who takes those vows as seriously as I do. Happy 14th Anniversary!
