Simple Woman’s Daybook….February 8th 2010
FOR TODAY:
February 08, 2010…
Outside my window…the footprints in the sand are silent clues to the fun of another day that has past in our childrens’ lives.
I am thinking…how wonderful it is that my parents’ have been married for 46 years today.
I am thankful for…the science center we have here to enjoy.
From the learning rooms…Triceratops likes to be in a heard as there is safety in numbers. T-Rex hunts alone.
From the kitchen…so many dishes left from last nights fun Superbowl party.
I am wearing…jeans, a bright pink vest and my “Mommy” hat!
I am creating…5″ x 5′ knitted squares for a community Lap Blanket project that Chloe and I are participating in.
I am going…to gymnastics with the girls tonight.
I am reading…Gone with the Wind for me, and Diary of a Wipmy Kid for our Mother/Daughter Book Club meeting this weekend.
I am hoping…to get some decent knitting and maybe even some reading done tonight.
I am hearing…Ava pounding around in her room after waking up from her nap.
Around the house…there are scattered football player limbs from Jayden’s NFL Gladiators. Chloe says they were in a train wreck. We are trying to figure out what position Jeremy Shockey can play without an arm!
One of my favorite things…is chocolate! Our friends brought over a cookie cake for the Super Bowl party with fudge frosting on it! Soooooo goooooood!
A few plans for the rest of the week:My plans are the usual: homeschooling, art class, Walk/Talk, gymnastics, ice skating, Mother/Daughter Book Club is this weekend as well.
Here is the picture for thought I am sharing…
